Since bursting on to the UK Blues scene in 2020 with debut EPs, Grace and Aaron have been going from strength to strength.

The British husband and wife duo have an ever-growing online fan base and have been played regularly on BBC Radio 2.

Their unique harmonic vocal-led approach to song writing, dirty electric guitar, slide resonator mandolin and fiddle create a unique distinctive and contemporary blues rock sound that echoes 1970s classic rock with hints of the 1930s blues that inspire them.

On November 20th, 2020, the duo released their long-awaited debut album We Fly Free to critical acclaim from the UK radio and rock music magazine media as well as reaching #1 in the Blues Album Charts on iTunes.

Chris Kimsey, the Rolling Stones record producer praised the album saying that “The performances are exemplary, the sound is magnificent, the songs are gorgeous. I love the drama. I love everything.”

In 2021 When Rivers Meet were the first band to win 4 UK Blues Awards in the same year and were also Voted Best New Band 2021 by Planet Rock listeners.

On November 19th, WRM released their sophomore album Saving Grace and the single Never Coming Home. The album met with outstanding reviews, and the single was added to Planet Rock’s main playlist.

Classic Rock Magazine had this to say about Saving Grace: “Grace and Aaron Bond return with an absolutely smoking follow-up, a spot-on cornucopia of dirty riffs and impassioned blues-rock power, with a keen ear for authentic instrumentation and atmosphere.”

The album received rave reviews in Powerplay, Blues Matters, Blues in Britain, Fireworks, Classic Rock, Viva Le Rock, R’N’R, HRH and MNPR Magazine. After the first week of the release, Saving Grace charted #2 UK Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart, #5 UK Official Album Downloads Chart, and #6 UK Official Independent Albums Chart Top 50.

In Spring 2022, WRM embark on a 17-date headline tour of the UK to be followed by Europe and US tours later in the year.
